The Cisco WS-C3560CX-12PC-S Catalyst 3560-CX is a compact fanless Layer 3 managed switch designed for deployment outside the traditional wiring closet in offices, conference rooms, classrooms, retail stores, and hospitality environments. Twelve 10/100/1000 GbE PoE+ ports deliver 802.3at connectivity with a combined 240W budget for IP phones, wireless access points, and IoT devices. Four uplink interfaces include 2x 1G SFP fiber ports and 2x GbE RJ-45 copper ports; all four are usable simultaneously and can also function as additional downlink ports. Switching capacity reaches 32 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 23.8 Mpps. The fanless passive-cooling design eliminates noise for open-plan and carpeted environments. IP Base license includes advanced Layer 3 features , OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Policy-Based Routing, MACsec, and Cisco TrustSec; IP Services RTU upgrade is available for additional routing capabilities.
