The Cisco FPR1010-ASA-K9 is a compact firewall appliance from the Firepower 1000 Series, running Cisco ASA software for small office and branch network security. It sits at the entry point of the Firepower 1000 family, delivering 2 Gbps of stateful firewall throughput on 8 fixed RJ45 ports, compared to the next tier FPR1120, which adds 4 SFP uplink ports and more than doubles throughput to 4.5 Gbps. It provides 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 of which support PoE+ for powering IP phones or access points directly from the firewall. Multiprotocol firewall throughput reaches 1.4 Gbps, with support for up to 100,000 concurrent connections and 25,000 new connections per second. IPsec VPN throughput reaches 500 Mbps across up to 75 VPN peers, supporting secure site to site and remote access connectivity. A 200GB onboard drive stores logs and configuration data locally on the appliance.
