Cisco C4KX-NM-8SFP+
C4KX-NM-8SFP+ is the 8-port network uplink module, The 8-port network uplink module installs only in the Catalyst 4500-X series switch chassis. It provides an additional eight 1G/10G ports using either SFP or SFP transceivers. The module is included as a standard component of the WS-C4500X-24X-ES and the WS-C4500X-40X-ES chassis or is available as an option on the other Catalyst 4500-X series chassis.

This 4500-X expansion module supports both SFP and SFP+ transceivers, allowing expansion of your existing 4500-X switches in a variety of ways. Supported 10G transceivers include the SFP-10G-SR, SFP-10G-LR and SFP-10G-ZR SFP+ modules. 1G transceivers compatible with this module include the GLC-SX-MMD, GLC-LH-SMD, and copper GLC-T modules. Additional pluggable transceivers such as AOC and H10GB cables are also compatible with this module.
