Cisco ASR1002-F ASR 1002-F 4-Port Gigabit SFP 2.5 Gbps Integrated Aggregation Services Router - New

The Cisco ASR1002-F is an ASR 1002-F aggregation services router in a 2RU chassis with an integrated route processor, embedded services processor and SPA interface processor. Unlike the ASR 1002, which it matches in general-purpose routing and security features, it has a fixed 2.5 Gbps of system bandwidth and an integrated interface processor that is not field replaceable. Four built-in Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports sit in SPA bay 0, and one half-height SPA slot adds further interfaces. The integrated ASR 1002-ESP-F provides 2.5 Gbps of forwarding performance and works only in this chassis. The router has 4 GB of fixed DRAM, and the route processor includes an RJ-45 BITS timing input. Management access comes through RJ-45 console and auxiliary ports, a management Ethernet port and a USB port for smart cards, image updates or configuration files. The chassis takes either two AC power supplies or two DC power supplies, which are hot pluggable and cannot be mixed. Internal fans at the rear of the chassis draw cooling air across the components. Status LEDs on the route processor, ESP and interface processor show power and operating state.
