HPE Aruba JL704C CX 8360-48Y6C v2 48-Port 25G 6-Port 100G MACsec Layer 3 Managed Switch

The HPE Aruba JL704C is a Layer 3 managed switch from the Aruba CX 8360 v2 Series, sold as the 8360-48Y6C v2 bundle for enterprise campus core and data center aggregation deployments. This bundle uses front-to-back airflow and supports operation up to 113°F (45°C), a wider range than its back-to-front JL705C sibling, which is rated only to 104°F (40°C) under the same load. It provides 48 ports of 1, 10, and 25 Gigabit Ethernet, 4 of which support MACsec, alongside 6 ports of 40 and 100 Gigabit Ethernet, 2 of which support MACsec, for a combined 54 total ports. Switching capacity reaches 4.8 Tbps with a MAC address table supporting over 212,992 entries and IPv4 unicast route capacity beyond 606,000 entries. The switch runs on a 1.8GHz quad core 64 bit CPU with 16GB of RAM and 32GB of flash storage, backed by a 32MB packet buffer. This bundle ships complete with 2 hot swappable power supplies and 5 hot swappable fans installed, ready for immediate rack deployment. Advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features include BGP, OSPF, VRF, static and dynamic VXLAN with BGP EVPN, and Aruba Virtual Switching Extension for high availability across switch pairs. The Aruba Network Analytics Engine adds industry first monitoring and automated troubleshooting for network health and congestion issues.
