The HPE Aruba JL260A is a 48-port Layer 3 managed access switch from the Aruba 2930F Series, designed for enterprise edge, SMB, and branch office deployments requiring high-density Gigabit access without PoE. The switch provides 48 autosensing 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and four 1G SFP uplink ports for fiber connectivity to distribution or core equipment. The JL260A is the non-PoE 1G-uplink variant of the 48-port 2930F lineup, positioned below the JL254A which carries 1G/10G SFP+ uplinks. Layer 3 features include static routing, RIP, Access OSPF, IPv6, and ACLs with no software licensing required. Virtual Switching Framework (VSF) supports up to 8-member stacking. Zero Touch Provisioning enables simplified branch deployment via Aruba Central cloud management. Security includes 802.1X, MAC authentication, ClearPass Policy Manager integration, and RADIUS/TACACS+. Management options include CLI, web UI, SNMP, Aruba Central, and AirWave.
