The HPE Aruba J9773A is a managed switch from the Aruba 2530 Series, built for small to medium business access layer deployments. As a Gigabit Ethernet model, the J9773A includes four dedicated Gigabit SFP uplink ports, unlike the Fast Ethernet 24 and 48 port siblings in the 2530 family, which use only two SFP slots paired with two RJ45 Gigabit uplinks instead. It provides 24 autosensing 10/100/1000 PoE+ ports, delivering up to 30W per port within a 195W total power budget. Switching capacity reaches 56 Gbps with a forwarding rate of up to 41.6 Mpps and latency below 2.3 microseconds at Gigabit speeds. The switch supports virtual stacking of up to 16 units for unified management, along with limited Layer 3 static routing alongside its core Layer 2 switching features. Management options include the Aruba Web GUI, CLI, Aruba Central, and Aruba AirWave for centralized visibility across a fleet of switches. Its fanless design keeps operation quiet, making it well suited for office environments where noise matters.
