Dell EMC S5212F-ON PowerSwitch S5200-ON Series 12-Port 25GbE 3-QSFP28 Uplink 1.08Tbps Switch

The Dell EMC S5212F-ON is a compact, half-width PowerSwitch built for space-constrained top-of-rack deployments in the S5200-ON family. It provides 12 25GbE SFP28 ports and 3 multi-rate 100GbE QSFP28 uplinks, delivering 1.08Tbps of non-blocking switching capacity. Unlike the 24-port S5224F-ON, 48-port S5248F-ON, and 96-port S5296F-ON, it targets smaller server racks needing 25GbE density in a half-width chassis. The switch supports Dell Enterprise SONiC Distribution, a production-ready open network operating system built for programmability and automation. Multi-rate QSFP28 uplinks flex between 10, 25, 40, 50, and 100GbE, letting a single port match whatever fabric speed the network requires. Dell Fresh Air 2.0 compliance supports operation up to 45C, while safety and EMC certifications cover UL/CSA, EN, IEC, and RoHS requirements. Dual hot-swappable power supplies and four fixed fan modules, offered in either airflow direction, keep the switch running through a single component failure. An RJ45 console port with RS232 signaling and a dedicated management port provide out-of-band access for initial setup and ongoing administration. Zero-touch provisioning through the Open Network Install Environment lets administrators image and deploy the switch without manual console configuration.
