The Dell EMC N3132PX-ON is a managed switch from the PowerSwitch N3000E Series, built for offices and campus networks needing multigigabit PoE across a wide port count. It sits within a family of N3000E port-count variants that includes a smaller 24-port N3124PX-ON sibling, while this 32-port model uniquely adds a QSFP+ 40 Gigabit Ethernet expansion option and a dedicated stacking module, both marked as exclusive to the N3132PX-ON in Dell's own configuration options. It provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports rated to 60W alongside 8 additional multigigabit ports supporting up to 5 Gigabit Ethernet, also rated to 60W PoE, plus 4 integrated 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports. Switching fabric capacity reaches 328 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 428 Mpps, backed by a 32,000 entry MAC address table and 2GB of CPU memory. The switch supports up to 1,024 static routes and 8,160 dynamic IPv4 routes, along with Multichassis Link Aggregation and VRF-lite for network segmentation. Stacking scales to 12 members from a single IP address using an optional stacking module installed in the hot swap expansion bay. A 1,100W hot-swappable power supply, 80 PLUS certified for efficiency, powers the switch, with a second power supply bay available for redundancy.
