Cisco Meraki MR57-HW Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax 4x4 MU-MIMO 8.35 Gbps Cloud-Managed Access Point

The Cisco Meraki MR57-HW is a cloud-managed tri-band Wi-Fi 6E indoor access point from the Meraki MR Series, designed for high-density enterprise environments including corporate offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, and retail locations requiring maximum wireless throughput across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands. The MR57 delivers 8.35 Gbps aggregate frame rate with concurrent tri-band operation — up to 4,804 Mbps in the 6 GHz band, 2,402 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 1,147 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band — using a 4x4:4 MU-MIMO design per radio with UL/DL OFDMA and BSS Coloring for efficient multi-client operation. A software-configurable flex radio supports operation as either a true tri-band AP with 6 GHz access or in dual 5 GHz mode for legacy high-density deployments. Two 5G multigigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ support link aggregation, high availability failover, or power sharing. A dedicated fourth radio provides real-time Air Marshal WIDS/WIPS scanning with automated RF optimization continuously fed back to the Meraki cloud without impacting client throughput. A fifth integrated BLE radio enables IoT device visibility, location analytics, and beaconing. Security features include WPA3 Enterprise with 192-bit mode, 802.1X with Active Directory integration, AES hardware encryption, and Layer 7 application-aware firewall. Management is via the Meraki Dashboard with zero-touch provisioning, automatic firmware updates, and real-time network-wide visibility. A Meraki MR Enterprise or Advanced License is required and is sold separately.
