The Cisco IE-3300-8T2S-E is a fully managed Layer 2/3 rugged industrial Ethernet switch from the Catalyst IE3300 Series, designed for demanding industrial environments including manufacturing, energy, transportation, mining, smart cities, and oil and gas deployments. The switch provides eight 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and two 1G SFP uplink ports in a compact modular chassis with DIN rail mounting. The modular design supports expansion to up to 26 GbE ports or 24 GbE plus 2x 10G uplinks via IEM-3300 expansion modules. Dual DC power inputs support redundant power for continuous operations. The IE-3300-8T2S-E ships with Network Essentials license covering Layer 2 switching including VLANs, MSTP, RSTP, PVST+, EtherChannel, LACP, Q-in-Q tunneling, voice VLAN, IGMPv1/v2/v3 snooping, LLDP, and CDP. Security features include 802.1X port authentication, DHCP snooping, port security, SPAN, RSPAN, and ACLs.
