Achieve Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over Cat5e copper wire using the Cisco GLC-T transceiver module. These hot-swappable 1000BASE-T SFP gigabit interface converters (GBIC) plug directly into a Gigabit Ethernet port or slot, linking the port with the network and delivering high performance Ethernet networking. GLC-T modules utilize an RJ45 interface, are IEEE 802.3:2000 compliant, and can operate at lengths up to 100m (328 ft).
