The Cisco FPR4110-ASA-K9 is an ASA security appliance from the Firepower 4100 Series, running the Cisco ASA Firewall software image on Firepower hardware for organizations standardized on ASA management. It provides 8 SFP+ ports on-chassis alongside 2 NetMod expansion bays supporting 1/10/40/100G interfaces, giving flexible connectivity beyond the fixed onboard ports. The appliance delivers up to 35 Gbps of stateful inspection firewall throughput under ideal UDP test conditions, or 15 Gbps with a realistic multiprotocol traffic mix. It supports 10 million concurrent firewall connections, 150,000 new connections per second, and up to 10,000 VPN peers with 8 Gbps of IPsec VPN throughput. The system includes 10 security contexts by default, expandable to 250, and supports both Active/Active and Active/Standby high availability, along with clustering across multiple chassis for increased performance and scale. The chassis is 1U and rack mountable, with mount rails included for 4-post EIA-310-D racks.
