The Cisco CISCO1812/K9 is a Cisco 1812 integrated services router with a managed 8-port 10/100 switch, two 10/100 WAN ports and an ISDN S/T backup interface. It supports hardware-based encryption for IPSec VPN with AES, 3DES and DES, and two USB 2.0 ports accept USB flash and eToken modules. Optional Power over Ethernet is a field-upgradable kit, and the router comes with 128 MB of DRAM.

The Cisco CISCO1812/K9 is a Cisco 1812 integrated services router that combines routing, a managed 8-port 10/100 switch and an ISDN S/T backup interface in a fixed-configuration chassis. It differs from the CISCO1811/K9, which provides a V.92 analog modem port in place of the ISDN S/T port. Two 10/100 WAN ports, FE 0 and FE 1, connect to service providers, and the switch ports use FE 2 through FE 9. Two USB 2.0 ports accept Cisco USB flash memory modules and USB eToken modules. The router has RJ-45 console and AUX ports and a CompactFlash slot that takes cards up to 128 MB. It comes with 128 MB of DRAM and 32 MB of flash by default, and a SODIMM slot extends DRAM to 384 MB. Embedded hardware-based encryption supports IPSec VPN with AES, 3DES and DES. Series features include firewall protection, inline intrusion prevention, Network Admission Control and URL filtering, and Cisco Router and Security Device Manager comes with the router. Power over Ethernet is a field-upgradable option using the POE-181X= kit, sold separately.
