The Cisco C9300-NM-2Y is a hot-swappable uplink network module for the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series switches, providing 2 x 25 Gigabit Ethernet SFP28 ports for high-speed backbone and aggregation connectivity. The module supports multi-rate operation at 25G, 10G, and 1G speeds via SFP28 ports, delivering up to 50 Gbps of aggregate uplink bandwidth for future-proof network scalability. Compatible with all Catalyst 9300 modular uplink models including C9300-24T, C9300-48T, C9300-24P, C9300-48P, C9300-24U, C9300-48U, C9300-24UX, and C9300-48UXM variants with both Network Essentials (-E) and Network Advantage (-A) licensing. The module installs in the Catalyst 9300's dedicated network module slot without requiring a switch reboot or disrupting network operations. It supports the full Catalyst 9300 feature set including Cisco StackWise-480 stacking, MACsec encryption, Cisco TrustSec, Flexible NetFlow, Application Visibility and Control, SD-Access, and intent-based networking capabilities. Existing Catalyst 3850 network modules are also supported in Catalyst 9300 platforms, but C9300 network modules cannot be used in Catalyst 3850 switches.
