Cisco C9300-48S-E Catalyst 9300 48-Port 1G SFP Fiber Non-PoE StackWise-480 Network Essentials Switch

The Cisco Catalyst C9300-48S-E is a 48-port 1G SFP fiber access switch providing dense fiber downlink connectivity in a stackable 1U chassis. All 48 ports accept standard 1G SFP transceivers including SX, LX, and ZX optics as well as copper SFP, making this model well suited for fiber-to-the-desk, fiber-rich campus distribution, and environments where copper infrastructure is not present or preferred. No PoE is supported. A single modular uplink slot accepts field-replaceable network modules including the C9300-NM-4G (4x 1G), C9300-NM-8X (8x 10G), and C9300-NM-2Q (2x 40G), providing flexible uplink scaling without chassis replacement. Built on Cisco's UADP ASIC, the switch delivers 256 Gbps switching capacity and 190.47 Mpps forwarding at wire speed for both IPv4 and IPv6. Cisco StackWise-480 supports up to 8 switches in a single logical stack at 480 Gbps with StackPower shared power management. The platform scales to 32,000 MAC addresses, 4,000 VLANs, and 32,000 IPv4 routes. Layer 3 features include OSPFv2/v3, EIGRP, BGP, VRF-Lite, and PIM-SM/SSM. Security features include MACsec, 802.1X, DHCP snooping, IP Source Guard, CoPP, and Trustworthy Systems hardware integrity verification. Ships with 8GB DRAM, 16GB flash, three field-replaceable N+1 fans, and a single PWR-C1-715WAC power supply. Network Essentials license included.
