The HPE Aruba JL663A is a 1RU modular Layer 3 stackable access switch from the Aruba CX 6300M Series, designed for enterprise campus, aggregation, and data center top-of-rack deployments requiring high-density standard Gigabit access with 50G uplink flexibility. The switch provides 48 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports (non-PoE) and four SFP56 uplink ports configurable at 1G/10G/25G/50G for high-speed stacking or core connectivity. Switching capacity is 496 Gbps with a throughput of 369 Mpps. VSF stacking supports up to 10 members via chain or ring topology with up to 200 Gbps of stacking bandwidth. The CX 6300M runs AOS-CX, a microservices-based programmable OS supporting BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, VRF, MACsec 256, and Dynamic Segmentation. The Network Analytics Engine provides telemetry and automated monitoring. Power supplies and fan trays are hot-swappable. The JL663A is the 48-port non-PoE GbE variant of the CX 6300M lineup, differentiated from the JL662A by higher port density and the absence of PoE.
