Cisco A920-PWR400-D 400W DC Hot-Swap ASR 920 Aggregation Services Router Power Supply

The Cisco A920-PWR400-D is a 400W DC power supply module for the ASR-920-12SZ-IM aggregation services router. Where the A920-PWR400-A takes AC input and the 250W ASR-920-PWR-D powers the 24-port ASR 920 models, this supply is the DC option for the 12SZ-IM. It accepts -18 to -32 VDC or -40 to -72 VDC, covering nominal 24, 48 and 60 volt feeds, and connects through a two-position terminal block. The router takes two supplies in 1+1 redundancy with current sharing, so either one can carry the full load if the other fails or loses its input. Supplies are hot-swappable, and a DC supply can sit beside an AC one in the same router. Each supply has a power LED and a FAIL LED that show valid input and output, a low input voltage, a system shutdown or a failure. On the 12SZ-IM it supports the 180W PoE budget shared by the eight copper ports, although PoE is unavailable when the router runs on 24 VDC. Its predicted MTBF is 331,879 hours.
