The IRM-1100-SP and IRM-1100-SPMI expansion modules add dual active LTE and an SFP, the IRM-1100-4A2T adds serial and Ethernet ports, and the IRM-1100-4S8I adds four SFP ports and GPIO. Cisco IOS XE provides OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, FlexVPN, a zone-based firewall and Cisco Trust Anchor security. SCADA gateway functions include DNP3 and IEC 60870 T101 to T104 translation and Raw Socket transport. A 9.6 to 60V DC input and -40 to 60°C sealed-cabinet operation meet IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 utility requirements.
